Montgomery Recreation serves a variety of ages and provides programs and activities of interest to our residents.

College Admissions 101 Seminar (2/13/2018) - * Free Workshop * No matter where you want to go to college there are always things you can do to improve your chances of admission. Grades, test scores, activities, essays and interviews--we'll cover all the elements at this seminar. We'll also share Collegewise strategies to make you a stronger applicant and you avoid the most common mistakes. Perfect for sophomores, juniors and parents. Kids on the Move (2/12/2018) -   Kids on the move Program reinforces healthy exercise-based habits for 5th and 6th graders. Kids meet biweekly for 8 weeks and participate in different training activities like functional, circuit, and team building training while also developing essential resiliency skills. Montgomery Baseball League to offer Girls Softball Program in Spring 2018! (2/7/2018) - The Spring Registration and Community Event will feature professional baseball player Josh Prevost, currently a Pitcher in the New York Mets minor league system. Prevost, a former resident who played on both the MBL Rec and High School level, will be on hand to sign autographs and talk about his journey to the pros before he heads out to Spring training.  Josh is truly appreciative of his achievements thus far in the sport he loves and wishes to impart to young players lessons learned from his valuable experiences. MVMC Chairman Mike Maloney proudly displays the street sign upon its delivery to Montgomery Twp. “1st Lt. Ashley Henderson-Huff Memorial Drive” Dedicated at High School (1/12/2018) - A new street sign at the front entrance to Montgomery High School now declares it “1st Lt. Ashley Henderson-Huff Memorial Drive.”  On the morning of December 19th Ashley’s father Mark Henderson, the Montgomery Veterans Memorial Committee, Montgomery Township School District administrators, Rolling Thunder and Military Order of the Purple Heart representatives, students, teachers, and many honored guests attended a ceremony to unveil the new sign, followed by an indoor assembly about Ashley for high school juniors and seniors.
